Doug Carnes, vice president of poultry operations of Mar-Jac Poultry, has announced his plans for retirement after serving with the company for 20 years.

Pete Martin, complex manager and a member of the Mar-Jac board, will assume the position of vice president of poultry operations as the transition takes place over the next 18 months. Carnes will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors.
