Packaging Options: |
Since our primary sales focus is on the foodservice industry we typically use a controlled vacuum packaged. We do offer CO2 and ice pack if needed. We use an 8-sided waxed box that is among the strongest in the industry. Inside you will find thick 4-mil. high-density heat sealed bags to prevent leakage. To accomadate-customers ranging from the individual establishment through high volume chain accounts, we offer 20, 40, and 70 pound master containers. Slaughter dates are clearly marked on our label showing the start of our 14-day shelf life.

Cost Comparison |
- Determine Case Price.
Invoice price/lb. x Case Wt. = Case Price
- Determine Total Waste.
Remove and weigh purge, leaf fat, tails, giblets and any other foreign material.
- Determine Usable Product.
Label weight - Total Waste = Usable Product
- Determine Actual Cost.
Case Price / Usable Product = Actual Cost
- Compare: Actual cost/lb. to Invoice cost/lb.
ACTUAL EXAMPLE:
- Case Price: 70lbs x $.84/lb. = $58.80/case.
- Total Waste: Fat + Tail+ Purge = 6 lbs.
- Usable Product: 70lbs. - 61lbs. = 64 lbs.
- Actual Cost: $58.80 + 64 lbs. = $.92/lb.
- Compare: $.92/lb. vs. Our Price
- REMEMBER THAT INVOICE PRICE IS NOT ALWAYS ACTUAL COST
